What is the Edo State Ministry of Education LMS?expandcollapse
The Edo State Ministry of Education Learning Management System is an official government digital platform built to deliver structured learning to teachers, school administrators, students, board officials, and education stakeholders across Edo State
Who can use this platform?expandcollapse
The platform is designed for public school teachers, school administrators, board staff, and students in Edo State public schools. Parents and approved community partners can access specific sections.
Does the platform work on mobile?expandcollapse
Yes. The platform is fully mobile-responsive and works on any smartphone or tablet via Chrome, Firefox, or Safari
Can I use the platform without internet?expandcollapse
Yes. Key course content is available for offline download. Download your enrolled modules while connected, study at your own pace offline, and your progress syncs automatically when you reconnect.
How do teachers register?expandcollapse
Go to the homepage and click Register. Enter your full name, school name, LGA, staff ID, and email address. Your account is verified against the Ministry's teacher database and you receive a confirmation email within 48 hours.
How do students access the platform?expand collapse
Students sign up through their school. Your teacher or administrator will give you a school enrolment code. Once registered, you can browse teaching resources and subject content for your school level.
I forgot my password. What do I do?expand collapse
Click Forgot Password on the login page, enter your registered email, and you will receive a reset link. If you no longer have access to that email, contact the Help Desk directly.
How long do I have access to a course?expand collapse
Standard access lasts 90 days from enrolment. Compulsory Ministry programmes may have fixed deadlines. Check the course details page before you begin.
Do I get a certificate?expand collapse
Yes. After completing a course and passing the assessment, you receive a verifiable digital certificate issued by the Edo State Ministry of Education. Certificates are downloadable from your dashboard and recognised in the Ministry's teacher performance frameworks.
Are the courses free?expand collapse
All courses provided by the Ministry and its boards are free for registered users. Any course with a fee will be clearly labelled before enrolment.
What do I need to use the platform?expand collapse
A smartphone, tablet, or computer. A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge). A valid email address. Minimum 1 Mbps internet for standard content, 2 Mbps or above for video. Low-bandwidth mode is available. Key content is downloadable for offline access.

All data is stored securely and processed in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023. Your information is never sold or shared with third parties without your consent. Read the full Privacy Policy in the footer.
Is training on this platform compulsory for teachers?expand collapse
Certain programmes designated as mandatory by the Ministry, such as new teaching resource rollouts, board directives, and child protection training, are required for relevant educators. These are clearly labelled Mandatory. Completion may be linked to performance evaluations.
How does the Ministry monitor usage?expand collapse
The platform tracks enrolment, completion rates, scores, and certification outcomes at individual, school, LGA, and state levels. This data is used strictly for educational planning, targeted support, and accountability. Never for commercial use.
